About Amity Medical Group

Amity Medical Group is an independent family medicine practice with three offices servicing the greater Charlotte / Mecklenburg County metropolitan area. They specialize in primary and chronic care, including HIV specialty, diabetes specialty, weight loss management, and preventative care services. They also offer on site labs, on site radiology, and on site pharmacy, with a staff of nine medical providers and a support staff of more than twenty.

Olivia Bentley, PharmD, CFts, AAHIVP

Executive Director

Dr. Olivia Bentley serves as the site coordinator for the fellowship program. She established pharmacist-led collaborative clinical services at AMG and now serves as the executive director at the clinic. She has oversight of clinic operations, the providers, clinical staff, and support staff.

Mandy Irvin, PharmD, AAHIVP, CPP

Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Mandy Irvin is one of the full-time clinical pharmacists at AMG, and she sees a wide variety of patients for follow-up visits targeting HIV, diabetes, HTN, HLD, Suboxone, and pain management.

Shane Bentley, PharmD, AAHIVP

Clinical Pharmacist

Dr. Shane Bentley is one of the full-time clinical pharmacists at AMG. He currently conducts Suboxone visits, PrEP visits, annual wellness visits, and follow-up visits in collaboration with providers.

Michael Deme, PharmD

Clinical Community Pharmacist

Dr. Michael Deme leads annual wellness visits, chronic care management, behavioral health integration, and remote physiologic monitoring initiatives for AMG.

Management for Medicare patients with 2 or more chronic conditions
